Heres a picture of Mike Strohmeyer VZ-24 in the middle stages of modification. Barrel has been replaced with a Shilen 308 barrel . Reciever has had a weaver rail TIG welded in place. Weaver rail made from blank weaver stock. Boyd's Bold trigger. Aluminum bedding block constructed of lengths of 1/4" 6061 T-6 flat bar welded together and machined to press fit onto the base of the reciever. Nightforce 5.5-24X56 Scope installed with A.R.M.S. QD scope mounts and Harris Bipod. Eventually the bedding block will be inlet into a stock made from 3" thick industrial fiberglass laminate. For the time being, the rifle has been put into an ATI stock for test firing.

Here we have a Mauser of Dave S. Its a Turk 1943 K Kale Mauser, Custom action work done by George Stringer. New bolt handle, jeweling of the bolt, lapped lugs, custom fit the action. Added new Remington 700 .308 barrel, compensator and machined it to barrel size. Drilled and tapped for Weaver Mounts. blued finish. Timney trigger, and low scope safety. Nice Rifle Dave !
